A new school year is the perfect chance to start fresh, whether that means redefining goals, curating a new dorm room aesthetic, or experimenting with a new beauty routine.
In this social-first video series, we follow four college students, each at a different stage of their college journey, as they shop, style, and set intentions for the year ahead using Google Shopping. From minimal and bohemian dorm room décor to the ultimate “no makeup” makeup routine, each student shares their back-to-school vision before seeing it come to life through animation, collage, and vibrant visual storytelling.
Our creative approach combines live-action interviews, photography, collage, and playful animation in a digital scrapbook style. The result is a series that feels authentic, colorful, and fun, perfectly capturing the energy of back-to-school season.
Along the way, we highlight Google Shopping’s newest features, including Try On You and AR Beauty, while leveraging Wirecutter’s trusted expertise to make shopping smarter, easier, and more inspiring.
