Complex: Sneaker Icons
We collaborated with Complex and Champs Sports on a short doc series called Sneaker Icon. Each episode shared the story and history of a particular brand, as told by the fans, stylists, and creators.
To celebrate staples like Reebok and Nike Air Max, we used hand-drawn animation and visual effects to create 90's-inspired icons, playing with custom glitches, scratchy Photoshop brushes, and old school designs.
Our graphics were overlaid on top of interviews from Rae Sremmurd, Swizz Beatz, Frank the Butcher, Brendan Dunne, and more.
The entire series has reached over 4 million views since its 2019 launch.
