Coke x Stranger Things

Our team was thrilled to join three other miniature creators to create one epic interactive experience for Coke! Designed for their Sip & Scan® app, customers can scan the logo of products to unlock themed videos filled with tiny props.

Tasked with making three unique worlds for three different products (in just three weeks), our team got to work sketching environments that capture the brand’s aesthetic. The rooms would eventually come to life with the help of a professional hand model pouring drinks, turning on practical lights, or riding a bike.

Each exterior and interior space was filled with handmade details — from couches, to bookends, paintings, grass murals, and even a regulation-sized ping pong table.

But the biggest project was yet to come. During production of our three sets, a fourth world came our way. This one, in collaboration with Netflix, was for the premiere of Stranger Things Season 3! This world included exterior doors, an interior lobby, and the theater itself.

What a dream it was to develop and build the movie theater, complete with custom movie posters, mini snacks, jackets, bikes, and even a concession stand with a functioning soda machine!

We’re so thrilled with how all of the vignettes came together, from production to sound design. Get a behind-the-scenes look at how it all came together below.
