Musk

The Oscar-winning documentarian Alex Gibney delivers his most ambitious and epic work in exploring the history of the world’s richest man, Elon Musk.

Gibney takes an unflinching deep dive into the life and rise of the world’s richest man, uncovering “multiple levels of alleged villainy” and a disturbing ambition - “world domination” (@hollywoodreporter). An urgent documentary for an extraordinary moment, and one of this year’s most essential films, MUSK premiered at Venice on September 8 and due to demand will be opening in theaters early, on Oct 9.

We worked closely with Alex Gibney and the team at Jigsaw to create the film’s main title, along with graphics and animation that bring archival assets and evidence of Elon Musk’s correspondences across Twitter/X, text messages, and emails to life. We also developed an intricate web of X posts, maps, and data visualizations to take audiences behind the curtain of X, exploring how Musk uses and abuses the platform and its influence.

“A lacerating portrait of technocratic brilliance, power lust and crackpot delusion” -Variety.
