Coke x Stranger Things

Our team was thrilled to join 3 other miniature creators for one epic interactive experience for Coke! Designed for their Sip & Scan® app, customers can scan the logo of products to unlock themed videos filled with tiny props.

Tasked with making 3 unique worlds for 3 different products (in just 3 weeks), our team got to work sketching environments that capture the brand’s aesthetic.  The rooms would eventually come to life with the help of a professional hand model pouring drinks, turning on practical lights, or riding a bike.

Each exterior and interior room was filled with handmade details: from couches, to bookends, paintings, grass murals, and even a regulation-sized ping pong table.

But the biggest project was yet to come. During production of our 3 sets, a 4th world came our way. This one, in collaboration with Netflix, was for the premiere of Stranger Things Season 3! This world included exterior doors, interior lobby, and the theater itself.

What a dream it was to develop and build the movie theater, complete with custom movie posters, mini snacks, jackets, bikes, even a concession stand with a functioning soda machine.

We’re so thrilled with how all of the vignettes came together, from production to sound design. Get a behind-the-scenes look at how it all came together below. And thanks to Hone Productions for bringing us on board!
