Pura Vida founder Griffin Thall was named one of Forbes' 30 Under 30 for good reason. His company, which creates hand-made bracelets and anklets in Costa Rica, employs local artisans and supports great causes including awareness for breast cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, HIV/AIDS, animal rescue and countless more. With a mission like that, it was easy for us to get excited about creating a few online commercials for their brand.

Headquartered in San Diego, this company embodies the values of a west-coast lifestyle -- sunshine, beaches, and lots of color. But shooting animation at the beach can be complicated, and besides, we're a couple of pasty New Yorkers.

Instead, we decided to bring the beach to us ...

No, not like that -- but through hand-painted paper, collected seashells, a bucket of sand, and a whole lot of fruit. The results included promo videos for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube which received over hundreds of thousands of views collectively.

A big thanks to our friends Erica and Adette, founders of Tinsel & Twine, who stopped by our makeshift version of Rockaway Beach to offer their hand modeling talents.

What a great summer project! Might need to do it again in the winter to keep our minds off of the cold.
