CEO & Creative Producer
As Creative Producer, Jess leads all business development, operations, marketing, project management, and concept development for Mighty Oak.
For the past 10 years, she has worked in music and the visual arts, helping brands and musicians find their voice. Past speaking engagements about storytelling, creating content, and entrepreneurship include workshops at General Assembly, Etsy, Spotify, IFP's Screen Forward Labs, and the Northside Festival.
You can also find her producing stories and events for creative female founders or DJing events with her husband. Jess graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Music Industry and Business and The New School with an MA in Media Studies.
Emily has debuted works at venues such as St. Marks Poetry Project, Governors Island, Anthology Film Archives, Spectacle Theater, and the MUSMA Museum in Italy. Her film collaborations include Sony, the Tribeca Film Festival, New York International Children's Film Festival, LEGO, and her pet cat, Edie (who's modeled for a series of illustrations).
In 2013, she founded GirlStories, a free program for teen girls in NYC interested in film, comics and animation. Emily graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 2008 with a degree in Film/Animation/Video and is currently pursuing an MFA in Integrated Media Arts at Hunter College.
Michaela's short animated films have screened at a variety of distinguished film festivals including the Ottawa International Animation Festival, Rooftop Films, Brooklyn International Film Festival, Fantoche International Animation Festival, Switzerland Black Maria Film Festival, CineFamily in Los Angeles, andBoston Underground Film Festival.
Past clients include Samsung, Ben & Jerry’s, Asus, Target, Toyota, Special K, Fossil, Amnesty International, and many more.
Michaela graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Film/Animation/Video.
